Bereichsleiter Marketing Woolworth GmbHRuben Schmitz graduated with a dual degree in Business Administration (VWA) as well as a merchant in wholesale and export at KiK Textilien- und Non-Food
GmbH in Bönen (Germany) from 2005 to 2008.
In 2009 he took over the responsibility for the Europe-wide advertising
purchasing department and optimised serveral processes between the sales and
logistic departments to assure a more efficient supply reliability of
advertising material for the 2.000 stores back then.
In Summer 2010 he transfered to Woolworth for the position head of Marketing. His challenge was to reposition a department store - that has just gone into insolvency - new in the market.
